MECCHA CHAMELEON hiding spots guide

Use these rules on any map when you have ten seconds to choose a prop, color, wall, or corner.

1. Match material before color

A perfect green object still looks wrong if it sits on metal, glass, or clean tile. Pick the surface first, then adjust color.

2. Hide where objects repeat

Repeated chairs, boxes, frames, signs, and plants give seekers less reason to inspect your exact outline.

3. Respect sight lines

The best hiding spot is often close to a route but slightly outside the first camera sweep. Corners are strong only when they do not silhouette you.

4. Rotate late

Early movement exposes you. Move only after seekers have committed to a different lane or after their attention is split by another chase.

5. Pick maps that fit your group

Small groups need compact maps with readable rooms. Large groups can use wider maps with more routes and louder chase moments.
